Installation is a straight forward process.

1. Leave your drivebelt in place as it’ll help hold the power steering pulley (PSP) in place.
2. Using an impact gun and 19mm socket, zip that PSP nut right off. Note: the P/S shaft is NOT reverse threaded, its the usual lefty loosy/righty tighty.
3. NOW, fully remove your drivebelt along with the big OEM PSP. You will not be reusing your existing drivebelt as it will be too long for use with our smaller diameter pulley.
4. Install the K20Mart PSP in the same orientation as the OEM PSP onto the splined shaft, with concaved side facing towards pump body, flatter logo side outwards facing you.
5. Reuse impact gun to zip on that 19mm PSP nut. OEM nut torque spec is 47ft lbs.

While we do not include a drivebelt with our PSP because of various OEM pulley combinations that affect belt length, we have performed in-house belt fitment tests with the most common OEM pulley combinations and have compiled a list of proper length drivebelts for you. These pulley combinations are based in conjunction with the 3 most commonly used K-series crank pulley’s and if an AC compressor is present or not.

In our fitment testing, we found the OEM pulley diameters for the water pump pulley, auto tensioner pulley, and alternator pulley to stay pretty consistent and never change no matter which K20A or K24A series engine (excluding JDM K24A and K24Z). The pulleys with diameter caveats are mainly the crank pulley and AC compressor pulley’s. We used an RSX AC compressor in our fitment testing, which has a 4″- 4.1″ diameter pulley. This diameter carries over to AC compressors from any 02-11 Civic Si, 02-06 RSX, 02-06 CRV, and their JDM variants. From our findings, the AC compressors from the 04-08 TSX and 03-07 Accords can vary in pulley diameters from 4″ to 5″ which we did not include in our testing unfortunately. Our belt suggestion list below only covers AC compressors using a 4″-4.1″ diameter pulley.

If you don’t know which OEM crank pulley your K-series engine has, follow these instructions:

1. Measure the diameter of your crank pulley directly across the centerline. It should measure to one of these 4 sizes: 5.5″, 5.8″, 6-1/8″ or 6.5″
   We unfortunately did not have access to a 6.5″ crank pulley at the time of belt test fitments, we may add at a later time.
   5.5″ crank pulley: K20Z1, JDM K20A DC5/EP3/FD2 Type-R
   5.8″ crank pulley: K20A2, K20Z3, K20Z4, JDM CL7 K20A Euro-R
   6-1/8″ crank pulley: K20A3, K20Z2, K24A2, K24A3, K24A4 (03-05), JDM K24A RBB
2. Aftermarket race crank dampers such as ATi or Fluidampr are both 5.8″ diameter.
